call dot(l, x, y, p)
Basic Seismic
Utilities (BSU) subroutine originally published by Robinson
(1967) which computes an inner-product of two vectors, x and
y. The scalar output is in p.

l (int)
Number of
samples in x and y
x (float)
One Signal
y (float)
The other signal
p (float)
The scalar result of the inner-product taken between x and y.
NOTE:
This subroutine is called by other subroutines like
cross.
