chktrc - subroutine to examine a seismic file.
call
chktrc(iunit,icall,npts,traces,fsamin,
infil,bar,invbar,ibar,ntrace,ndim)
Basic Seismic
Utilities (BSU) subroutine which examines a seismic data set
on a disk file. Call this subroutine to find out the number
of traces, the sample interval, and the number of samples
per trace. The subroutine also returns arguments to draw a
progress bar in the main program. A progress bar provides
visual feedback to the user, and indicates the relative
completion of the main program.
Fortran Version.
Arguments
iunit (int)
fortran unit number
icall (int)
=0 on first call, will open file, infil
=1 on second and later calls,
assumes infil already open
npts (int)
number of samples in a trace
traces (float)
array that is used by bsegin. Required by bsegin which is called in chktrc.
fsamin (float)
sample interval in seconds
infil (char)
name of input file to be read
bar (float)
number of traces divided by 50
invbar (int)
reciprocal of bar
ibar (int)
integer conversion of bar
ntrace (int)
number of traces in the data set
ndim (int)
maximum number of samples allocated for a trace in memory
NOTE:
Trace header data are passed in a common block (see
bsegy.inc include file).
infil |
character variable which stores name of input file to be read. |
bsegout(3), bsegin(3), bmst(1), bsegy(5)
No known bugs.
