bsegin - subroutine to read a seismic trace
call bsegin(iunit,ndim,icall,npts,traces,fsamin,infil,jrec,iexit)
Basic Seismic
Utilities (BSU) subroutine which reads a seismic trace.
Fortran Version.
Arguments
iunit (int)
fortran unit number
ndim (int)
maximum number of samples allocated for a trace in memory
icall (int)
=0 on first call, will open file, infil
=1 on second and later calls,
assumes infil already open
npts (int)
number of samples in a trace
traces (float)
name of array in which samples to be stored, dimension ndim.
fsamin (float)
sample interval in seconds
infil (char)
name of input file to be read
jrec (int)
trace number to be read (direct access)
iexit (int)
=1 if tried to read past end of file
=0 if not at end of file
NOTE:
Trace header data are passed in a common block (see
bsegy.inc include file). Thus, header data do not appear in
the argument list.

character variable which stores name of input file to be read. |
