NAME

vshft - subroutine to shift a signal by an interpolation method.

SYNOPSIS

call vshft(npts, s1, s2, dt, fsamin )

DESCRIPTION

Basic Seismic Utilities (BSU) calls an inline function, valxx, which linearly interpolates a sample value at a non sampled time to shift a seismic trace by a desired amount.

Arguments
npts (int)

Number of samples in a trace

s1 (float)

Signal to be shifted (not altered).

s2 (float)

Output, shifted signal.

dt (float)

Time shift to apply.

fsamin (float)

Sample interval of the data.
